To mark the 50th Anniversary of the Pointer Club (1960-2010), there will be a number of celebrations with THE POINTER CLUB for the Members, Friends and Owners.

Although the Clubs roots go back to 1887 some 122 years ago, both world wars and lack of support in the early 50s meant that it lapsed from time to time, however the Club in its modern form has been re-instated since 1960).

The POINTER CLUB Committee intend to celebrate with the members at several functions, these are:

Saturday 20th February 2010 A Contest of Champions or Super Match on February 20th 2010 at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Near Kenilworth, Warwicks.

17th April 2010 - The Championship Show as usual at Newark. With judges Dawn Ingham Dogs & John Evans Bitches.

26th September 2010 - Fun Day  10:30am  £6 per person - Major Bridge Park, Holme on Spalding Moor.

July 2010 to November 2010 inclusive - An Art Gallery with The Kennel Club at Clarges, St. London to celebrate a Passion for Pointers.

12th July 2010 - Field Trial at Lauder

10th July 2010  - The Open Show in Derbyshire

23th/24th July 2010 - Field Trial at Reeth

16th August 2010 - An International Field Trial in Scotland

9th/10th September 2010 - Field Trial in North Norfolk

23rd October 2010 - The Open Show in Leicestershire
