2022) along with an overview of the results and statistics, and also a link to the

There is also a link to the new ‘Report A Health Condition’ initiative, so we can
continually monitor any possible trends for health conditions within the breed.
As always, information will be anonymised with only the conditions being
recorded for research purposes, never particular dogs or owners.

Whilst The Royal Kennel Club does not currently recommend any health testing
for Pointers at this time, but some breeders choose to hip score their dogs, and
a few have elbow scored. You can check out any health test results listed for
dogs using the KC’s ‘Health Test Results Finder’ search facility (presuming you
know the correct registered name of the dog):

The five year median score for pointers is currently 9. More information about
hip dysplasia and the scoring scheme can be found here:
