NOMINATIONS FOR COMMITTEE 2024
To be in the hands of the Secretary by 18th February 2024
In accordance with the Rules of the Pointer Club.
Any member of the Club shall be entitled to propose/second for the position of member of the Committee any other member of the Club who is willing to stand for election. Any nomination must be proposed and seconded by two fully paid up members who have been members for more than six months and be sent in writing to reach the Honorary Secretary by 18 February each year. No individual member who has been a member of the Club for less than three continual years immediately prior to nomination may be elected to the Committee of the Club.
The ballot for these positions will be sent by 25 February 2024 to all members who renew their membership by 31 January 2024. The results will be announced at the AGM in April 2024. The names of any committee members who have come to the end of their three year term and who wish to be re-elected will be included in the ballot, together with any co-opted members and those duly proposed and seconded.
No person whilst an undischarged bankrupt may serve on the Committee or hold any other office or appointment within a Kennel Club Registered Society.
