NOMINATIONS FOR OFFICERS AND COMMITTEE 2025
To be in the hands of the Secretary by 15 th January 2025
In accordance with the Rules of the Pointer Club.
Any member of the Club shall be entitled to propose/second for the position
of member of the Committee any other member of the Club who is willing to
stand for election. Any nomination must be proposed and seconded by two
fully paid up members who have been members for more than six months
and be sent in writing to reach the Honorary Secretary by 15 th January each
year. No individual member who has been a member of the Club for less
than three continual years immediately prior to nomination may be elected to
the Committee or serve as an officer of the Club.
The ballot for these positions will be sent by 15 th February to all members
who renew their membership by 31 st January 2025. The results will be
announced at the AGM in April 2025. The names of any committee
members who have come to the end of their three year term and who wish to
be re-elected will be included in the ballot, together with any co-opted
members and those duly proposed and seconded. Returned ballot papers will
need to reach the auditors by Sunday 23 rd March 2025
No person whilst an undischarged bankrupt may serve on the Committee or
hold any other office or appointment within a Kennel Club Registered
Society.
