She is a very dynamic pointer bitch. I looked up the definition of dynamic and sure enough Angie meets the definition possessing the qualities described in the synonyms: energetic, spirited, active, lively, zestful, vital, vigorous, strong, forceful, powerful, potent, positive, effective, driving and bold.
Angie points at birds naturally and will work a field and back up other pointers as well as stack and move in the showring.
Angie's other talent is that she walks long distances for charity and in so doing has become an inadvertent ambassador for the breed.
This summer with a group of 4 guys she walked 100 miles from Saltburn by the Sea to Flamborough carrying her own provisions, poo bags and bed roll on her backpack and sleeping in a tent with a family member. The weather conditions weren't great. She attracted a lot of attention causing the public to admire the breed and seeing first hand her personality and versatility. In turn this lead to discussions about the challenge, the charities and in the region of £150 in cash which can be directly attributable to her. This year she has helped to raise in the region of £2000 to be split between the Barnsley Hospice and the UK Sepsis Trust.
Here's Angie at the start of the challenge
We think she is a very special girl who truly represents a marvellously versatile breed. She is much loved. Michelle Wilkinson
